Dog Days of Summer

Anyone who is familiar with summers in Texas knows that it isn't the time to be without AC. My family and I awoke to a sweltering box last weekend when we realized that our central air unit had died during the night. It took three days for us to discover what parts we needs and get them ordered. Got them put on and were releaved to have cold air again.......until the next afternoon when yet another part croaked. GRRRRRRRRR.

It has been 10 days now and there is no relief in site for us at the moment. With hubby in the construction industry and the fact that those jobs are hard to find right now things are tight anyway. But when you throw into the mix a broken AC and 100 plus temps for the last 50 days straight it really doesn't make for a warm and fuzzy home :)

Fingers crossed that we get something ironed out by this weekend as I am sick of being so hot. :)  Y'all have a great day and try to stay cool :)
